Our replacement water pump has a sleeve fitted into the bypass hole for the brass pipe from your old unit to be fitted (see second picture of original pump in blue) . You MUST retain this pipe from your old unit for fitting to the new water pump.
Use ptfe tape or a similar sealant when re-fitting this pipe to the pump.
