Cylinder head top gasket set for V2203 V2403 engines.
There are two versions of these engines:
On early engines the rocker cover gasket is a simple rubber band type seal that fits in a groove cast in the rocker cover. The rocker cover itself is secured with domed nuts running down the centre of the top of the rocker cover.
On late engines the rocker cover gasket is a moulded rubber seal. This seal fits the cast shape of the rocker cover and the rocker cover is secured by a series of special bolts around the perimeter of the rocker cover.
Gasket Choice : Early engines were fitted with graphite gaskets, while later engines used metal ones. If there is any doubt about the flatness of the block or the cylinder head gasket face, opting for the graphite gasket is advisable to ensure optimal sealing and durability.
